Dublin Community Center offers a variety of supportive services, all current programs are listed below.  If there are programs you would like to recommend please let us know by calling the Dublin Center at 248-698-2394.

New Beginnings Support Group

New Beginnings is an on-going grief support group for widows and widowers who have dealt with the feelings of their loss.  They're ready to move forward in life.  Some individuals will have reservations about what lies ahead, and others are ready to explore all avenues. 

"None of us though we'd find ourselves in this strange situations, having to reinvent ourselves when we least expected it.  But as long as we need to, I'm glad I can do it in good company."

The group meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month at 10:00am.  Please join us!

Hearing Aide Cleaning and Check

Kristin Huizdos, Doctor of Audiology from Alliance Hearing Care is available to check and clean hearing aids.  To make an appointment- please call the Dublin Center at 248-698-2394.

Jack Bolling from the Law offices of Jack Bolling P.C. in Milford is available to meet with you to answer legal questions you may have.  This is an excellent opportunity for professional guidance.

Focus Hope

11:00am the 2nd Tuesday of each month

Dublin Community Center hosts the Focus Hope food distribution program.  Further information may be obtained by calling the Focus Hope office at 313-494-4600.

Free Tax Assistance

Dublin Community Senior Center in partnership with AARP presents: 


The AARP Tax-Aide program is the nation's largest free, volunteer-run tax assistance and preparation service.  These IRS certified volunteers provide free tax counseling and preparation services to millions of low and middle income taxpayers, with special attention to those ages 60 and older.

Emergency Phones

Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard's 911 Emergency Senior Cell phone program is designed to equip seniors with a mobile means of contacting help in the event of an emergency.

Congregate Meals

Meals prepared through Western Oakland Meals-on-Wheels are served regularly at Dublin Center on Mondays & Fridays.  Reservations for these meals must be made two days in advance by calling 248.698.2299 or 248.698.2394. 

Please have correct change:
$3 for 60 years of age and over
$5 for 59 years of age and under

Podiatrist Visit

1st Thursday of each month at 10:00am

Dr. Kris Haase, a Podiatrist with North Oakland Foot & Ankle Center is available for consultations, screenings and questions.

Ask the Nurse

2nd Friday of each month
10:30am to 12:30pm

The nurse will be joining us the first Friday of each month to take blood pressures.  She will also be available for any health questions or concerns you may have.


Dublin Over Eaters Round-up-Support

Fridays 10:45am - 11:45am
Join our weekly weight-loss support group
$10 registration fee

Dues: $2 per week ($1 is donated to a local charity and $1 is given as prize to the top two “losers” of the week) 

Computer Lessons

Thursdays 9:00am and 10:00am
$5 fee

Please take advantage of this opportunity to learn what you've always wanted to know about computers.  We have a wonderful instructor to teach you on a "one-on-one" basis.

White Lake Township Library

We are fortunate to have a "mini-branch" of the library right in the Dublin Community Senior Center lobby.  There are a variety of fiction and non-fiction books.  We also have a large section of large print and even books on tape.  Books MUST be checked out with office staff.

Meals On Wheels

In addition to meals provided at the center, Western Oakland Meals operates a program for the home bound thru the Dublin Community Senior Center.  If you would like to enroll, or become a volunteer driver, please call 888.886.8971.
